A lip flip uses a few units of Botox placed above the upper lip to relax the muscle, so the lip rolls slightly outward and looks fuller, with no filler.

What age should you start Botox?

There's no single right age, but you must be 18 or older. Many clients start in their mid-20s to early 30s, when fine lines show up as you move your face but still fade at rest. A small "preventative" or Baby Botox dose keeps those lines from setting in. At your consult, your nurse injector checks how your muscles move and recommends the lightest dose that fits your goals.

How far before a wedding or event should I get Botox?

Book Botox at least 2 weeks before a wedding, photos or a big event. Botox starts working within a few days and reaches full effect at about 14 days, which leaves time for a touch-up if you need one. If it's your first time, 3 to 4 weeks ahead is even better.
