How much is microneedling in Excelsior Springs?

How many sessions will I need?
A series is usually recommended for the best results. We plan your series at your consultation.
When will I see results from microneedling?
Skin often looks brighter within a week, once any redness fades. Collagen keeps building for several weeks after each session, so smoother texture and softer acne scars show up gradually over your series.
What should I do after microneedling?
Keep your skin clean and skip makeup for 24 hours. For a few days, avoid sun, sweaty workouts and active products like retinoids, and use gentle skincare and sunscreen. We send you home with full aftercare instructions.
Does it hurt? Is there downtime?
Numbing cream keeps you comfortable. Skin is usually red and a little swollen afterward, which can last up to a few days.
Does microneedling help acne scars?
Yes. It boosts collagen and elastin to soften acne scars, fine lines, large pores and uneven texture.
Is SkinPen FDA-cleared?
Yes. SkinPen was the first FDA-cleared microneedling device.
What areas can be treated?

How long does a microneedling appointment take?
Plan for about an hour. Numbing cream goes on for 20 to 30 minutes, and the SkinPen treatment itself takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
